Hi All,
I have recently come to possess a Vari-Tech "Johnny Rio" or "Mr. Six Gun". This is the game with the Saloon doors that opens and a full-size mannequin draws his gun and you have to beat him.
The game is close to complete except for the podium which is missing the top. I believe there is also a circuit board missing that may be attached to the top and both the game and the gun plug into it.
I'm wondering if there are any other owners out there who could share some information or parts dealers who might have what I'm looking for.
Any information is greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Hello Richard,
Wow, that was a welcome response! I was beginning to lose hope on finding anyone with info on JR. What condition is your machine in? I would say that mine is actually in pretty good condition, except for the fact that it's missing the gun pedestal top, the valves need work and half his face is missing! I don't have any documentation and I've been working on by-passing the missing top, but if it was possible to get some good pics of the top and what's going on underneath of it, I could work on making a replacement.
What stage is your rebuild at? Have you worked on something like this before? Myself, I've done a pin and old shuffle-alley, but both of those were electromechanical, so this is my first attempt in the digital age. Anyway, let me know if I can provide you with any info from my end.
Thanks again for your response and I hope to hear from you soon,
Joel
